Education isn’t just a line item in the budget — it’s a promise we make to every child in Arizona. And right now, we’re not keeping that promise.
Arizona consistently ranks near the bottom nationally in per-pupil education spending. Our teachers are among the lowest paid in the country, and many have left the profession entirely. Class sizes continue to grow while support services shrink. This isn’t a new problem, but it demands new urgency and new leadership.
Ben’s Education Plan
Increase per-pupil funding to the national average. Arizona’s students deserve the same investment as students in every other state. Ben will fight to close the funding gap and direct resources where they’re needed most — in the classroom.
Raise teacher salaries. We can’t attract and keep great teachers when neighboring states pay significantly more. Ben supports raising starting teacher salaries and creating meaningful pathways for career advancement.
Expand career and technical education. Not every student is headed to a four-year university, and that’s okay. Ben will expand CTE programs that prepare students for high-demand careers in healthcare, technology, trades, and more.
Protect public school funding. Public schools are the backbone of our communities. Ben will oppose efforts to divert public education dollars to unaccountable private institutions.
These aren’t radical ideas — they’re common-sense investments in our children and our future. And they’re exactly what Ben will fight for in the Arizona State House.
