Today, Ben Koehler officially announced his candidacy for Arizona State House, pledging to bring common-sense leadership and a commitment to working families back to the state legislature.
“I’m running because the people of Tucson and Southern Arizona deserve a representative who shows up, who listens, and who fights for what matters — not just at election time, but every single day,” Koehler said at a launch event attended by supporters, community leaders, and neighbors.
Koehler’s campaign will focus on six key issues: education funding, economic opportunity, healthcare access, water sustainability, public safety, and infrastructure investment. He emphasized that these are not partisan issues but shared priorities for every Arizona family.
“Our kids deserve fully-funded schools and teachers who are paid what they’re worth. Our families deserve an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. And our state depends on getting water policy right — not someday, but now,” Koehler said.
A Tucson native with deep roots in the community, Koehler brings a background in public service and a track record of bringing people together to solve problems.
